Discussion – The Secretary’s Report for 11/07/05 was reviewed.
Conclusions – A motion was made by Cheryl Camire to accept the minutes as written. Rosemary Dionne seconded the motion. All were in favor. The Secretary’s Report for 11/07/05 was accepted.
Discussion – The Treasurer’s Report for 11/07/05 through 12/05/05 was reviewed.

Elise noted to everyone that the Campership money would be moved to the Money Market Account.
President’s and Vice President’s Report- Cheryl Camire & Katie Denham (not in attendance this month.)
• The Ice Cream Social is next Wednesday. Need to start scooping at about 2:30. Anyone who is willing to help scoop, please show up.
• We will not do the Ice Cream Social for the band concert.
• The website is up and easy to use. Cheryl can help if anyone needs it. A big thanks to Mr. Corey for all his hard work.
Principal's Report – Kyle Rhoads (not in attendance this month, but there are a few things to go over.)
Date for the Seadogs is June 8th. Tickets are $5.00 adults, $3.00 Children and we will do the bus again. Kyle will try to make sure no baseball/softball games are scheduled.
A letter was received from the Maine State Department asking us to purchase one child's Christmas gift wish- we will use $20.00 of the jeans day money to purchase this gift. Cheryl made a motion to give the money, Andrea seconded it. All were in favor.
Kyle would like the PTG to sponsor the recognition of a teacher at the January staff meeting.
Holiday Concert has been changed again to December 14th. Ice cream social will follow the concert. We have 23 barrels of ice cream donated by Crabby Appletons. 6 barrels are at the school, 12 at Stacy Howes’ house, 5 at Tiffany Camire’s house, and 2 at Cheryl Camire’s house.
Teacher Representative – Tracy Scully –
A PTG yearbook ad is due by December 19th.
Sue G. would like to hold the annual talent show in March this year. Something to think about after the holidays.
A thank-you went out to the group from the AEA for the food delivered on parent/teacher conference day.
Jennifer Flewelling –
The kids have to pay for the trip to Canobie Lake Park themselves this year. A brief explanation of the cookbook fundraiser. It will be pre-sell and will not be ready until after Christmas. She would like the PTG to front the money to purchase the cookbooks and it will be reimbursed after the sales. As a thank-you for helping the 8th grade get this going, a PTG ad page could go in the cookbook. Rosemary made a motion to front the money. Andrea seconded the motion. All were in favor. Approved to loan $800.00
Sending gifts to soldiers overseas. Donations of small gift items or sundry products are accepted. If anyone has a family member overseas, please let Jen know.
David Cote & Angela Madigan – Thanks for sponsoring the writing team. Angela is heading up the student council and if there is anything the PTG needs, the student council members would be glad to help.
FUNDRAISING UPDATE – Stacy Howes
The Scrapping event for April is coming along- we are hoping to have 100 scrappers.
Calendar for Campership- They will go home in January and February with the drawing held in March. Cheryl will run off letters to go home with the kids and Tracy will organize them when they come in and her kids will draw the names again.
Passed a sample around of the embroidery for the t-shirts we might sell. A bit pricey but Stacy will look around and see and give us any information she gets.
HOLIDAY BAZAAR – Rosemary Dionne
The day is organized and should be fun! Some classes are wrapping in their own room and there will be plenty of wrapping elves on Thursday. Stacy and Brandi will take pictures again. Mr. Cote will help bring the tables over. 8th Graders will help lug stuff up again.
VOLUNTEER UPDATE – Rosemary Dionne
A letter went home about the material prep center. In addition, a volunteer letter when home but not many people are helping this year.
o Andrea would like to be reimbursed for some new ink.
o Can the PTG supply some new light bulbs for the basketball scoreboard? Kyle will ask Brian to get an estimate.
o Parent/Faculty basketball game is Friday, February 10th. Jen mentioned the pie in the face fundraiser! More details on the big day.
