VOLUNTEERS ARE THE DIFFERENCE

We need you! Seriiously, PTG is down one member at this time. There seems to be the same people doing all of the volunteering... What will it take to get some new hands to help carry the load? We have started a volunteer incentive program, (VIP). Everytime you volunteer in a classroom or at a PTG event you place your name in the bowl and at the end of the year a name will be pulled to win a family membership the Boston Musem of Science. Valued over $200.00
Change is good, you have questions, ideas, and maybe some feedback for the PTG. Well, bring it on! We want you to feel like this is your school, We want your kids to feel like this is the best school (because it is) and when we say "we" we want it to mean YOU TOO! PTG is fun, and rewarding, but the same people doing it all the time creates burn-out, and that is not good. New faces bring new ideas and new energy. You won't be left hanging, previous officers are helping hands, and will guide you. Come to a meeting, ask those questions, get those ideas heard...we want to hear them!
We really are looking for some parents to step up!
You can do this!

Campership 2012

CAMPERSHIP 2012

For years the PTG has been helping to send kids to camp.

If you would like your child to be able to attend camp at the YMCA in Springvale or another camp, please email the PTG, with the name of the camp, your name, the name of the child, and a phone number where you can be reached.

We have voted to give $150.00, (cost of one week of camp) to those who request and need assistance.

The checks will be sent to the camp, and you will be notified that you have received a campership.

The YMCA also has financial help available. visit their website to download an application.
